What price will Ethereum hit on August 1?: how this market works

3%cryptoUpdated 5 min ago

What you need to know

This market is asking whether Ethereum's price on August 1, 2026 will touch a specific level at any point during that day. There are actually three separate sub-markets here, each tied to a different price target: $1,750, $1,800, and $1,900. For the downside targets ($1,750 and $1,800), 'Yes' means ETH's price dropped to or below that number at least once. For the upside target ($1,900), 'Yes' means ETH's price climbed to or above that number at least once. Each market settles based on one specific data source: the ETH/USDT trading pair on Binance, using one-minute price candles. For the lower targets, the market resolves Yes if the lowest price in any single one-minute window on August 1 (midnight to 11:59 PM Eastern Time) touches or goes below that target. For $1,900, it resolves Yes if the highest price in any one-minute window touches or exceeds $1,900. Only Binance data counts. Even a brief one-minute spike or dip is enough. None of the provided news headlines relate to Ethereum or cryptocurrency prices. There is no relevant recent news to draw from here. The kind of developments worth watching for this market would be major crypto news, broader financial market moves, regulatory announcements, or significant macroeconomic events that tend to drive large price swings in ETH. Ethereum's price is genuinely hard to predict even a short time out, let alone over a longer horizon. The current odds show $1,800 as the most discussed level but still priced at only 9%, which suggests the market sees all three targets as fairly unlikely from today's vantage point. Crypto prices can move sharply on news, sentiment shifts, or broader market events that no one can reliably foresee. The main honest uncertainty is simply that ETH's price on any given future date is deeply unpredictable.
