What price will Ethereum hit on August 3?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks whether Ethereum's price will touch a specific level, either above or below, at any single moment during August 3, 2026. There are three separate price targets here: $1,900 (a ceiling to break above), $1,850 (a floor to stay above), and $1,800 (a lower floor). Each is its own Yes or No question. A 'Yes' means ETH briefly touched that level at least once that day. A 'No' means it never did. Each market settles based on one specific data source: the ETH/USDT trading pair on Binance, using one-minute price candles. For the upside targets, if the highest price in any single one-minute window on August 3 (midnight to 11:59 PM Eastern Time) reaches or exceeds the target, it resolves Yes. For the downside targets, if the lowest price in any one-minute window touches or drops below the target, it resolves Yes. Prices from other exchanges or trading pairs do not count, even if they show a different number. None of the recent headlines provided are directly about Ethereum's price. There are some broader market signals worth noting: crude oil fell sharply, some equity markets moved on easing geopolitical tension, and the US dollar weakened slightly. These kinds of macro shifts can influence crypto prices, but no Ethereum-specific news was provided to point to. Ethereum's price on a single future day is genuinely hard to call. Crypto can move sharply in minutes due to large trades, news, or ripple effects from other markets. The three targets here sit fairly close together, which means a moderate swing in either direction could flip multiple outcomes at once. The current odds suggest the market sees $1,850 as the most likely level to be reached, but a lot can change between now and August 3, 2026.
