Will Microstrategy announce selling any Bitcoin July 14-20?: how this market works

0%cryptoUpdated 2 min ago

What you need to know

This market asks a simple yes-or-no question: did Strategy Inc. (the company formerly called MicroStrategy) publicly announce that it sold any of its Bitcoin during the week of July 14 to July 20, 2026? A Yes means the company said it sold at least some Bitcoin during that window. A No means no such announcement was made. Strategy is famous for holding a very large amount of Bitcoin and has historically refused to sell it, so this question is really asking whether that long-standing pattern held. The market settles Yes if Strategy Inc. or its founder Michael Saylor officially announces a Bitcoin sale made between 12:00 AM ET on July 14 and 11:59 PM ET on July 20, 2026. The key detail is that timing is based on when the announcement happens, not necessarily when the sale happened. The source must be official, such as a company filing, a post from Saylor, or the company's own purchases page. If no such announcement appears in that window, it resolves No. The provided news headlines for this period do not contain anything relevant to Strategy's Bitcoin activity. One headline references a general financial markets roundup and another is about senior scam prevention, neither of which relates to this question. There is no recent news to point to here. The kind of update that would matter is an official filing or statement from Strategy or Michael Saylor about their Bitcoin holdings. At 0% odds, the market is about as one-sided as it gets. Strategy has never publicly sold Bitcoin since it began buying in 2020, and the company has repeatedly stated it treats Bitcoin as a long-term reserve asset. The real uncertainty here is not a balanced debate between two outcomes. It is simply the small chance that something completely unexpected occurs, like a financial emergency or a sudden policy change. That possibility exists but the market treats it as essentially zero.
