Ethereum all time high by ___?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks whether Ethereum will reach a new all-time high price by a specific date, either September 30 or December 31, 2026. A Yes means ETH hit a price higher than it has ever traded before on Binance. A No means it stayed below its historical peak the whole time. Think of it like asking: will ETH break its own record by that deadline? It resolves Yes if even a single one-minute price candle on Binance's ETH/USDT chart shows a 'High' value above every previous one-minute candle high in history, at any point before the deadline. One brief spike is enough. The data source is specifically Binance, not Coinbase or other exchanges, so a record price somewhere else would not count. If ETH never crosses that historical peak on Binance, it resolves No. None of the provided news headlines are relevant to this market. They cover wildfires in Europe and an unrelated article, nothing about Ethereum or crypto markets. The kinds of developments worth watching would be major crypto regulatory changes, broad market shifts, or significant news about Ethereum's technology or adoption. Crypto prices are genuinely hard to forecast over a year-plus horizon. The market currently prices the September deadline at around 2% and the December deadline at around 6%, both quite low, reflecting that ETH would need to surpass its historical all-time high, a significant move from wherever it currently trades. The main uncertainty is simply whether an unexpected surge happens at all. Crypto has surprised people in both directions before, but the odds here are clearly lopsided toward No.
