Trump, Putin, and Zelensky meet together before 2027?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks whether Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Volodymyr Zelensky will all be in the same room together, in person, before the end of 2026. A Yes means all three men physically meet and interact at the same time, at least once. A No means that three-way in-person meeting never happens, even if any two of them meet separately. The market settles Yes only if credible news outlets consistently report that all three leaders were physically present together and interacted in person before December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Two separate bilateral meetings, like Trump with Putin and then Trump with Zelensky, would not count. All three must be together at the same time. If that never happens, it resolves No by default. None of the recent news provided relates directly to this question. No headlines mention a three-way summit being planned or discussed. The kind of development worth watching for would be official announcements of peace talks involving all three countries, or a multilateral summit where all three leaders are invited to the same event. The market prices this at just 9%, reflecting how unlikely it is historically for a sitting U.S. president, a wartime Ukrainian leader, and the Russian president to share a room. Russia and Ukraine are at war, and Putin faces an international arrest warrant. Even if peace talks progress, they tend to happen in stages, not as grand three-way summits. The main uncertainty is simply whether something extraordinary and unexpected breaks through before the deadline.
