What price will Ethereum hit on August 4?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market is asking whether Ethereum's price will touch a specific level on August 4, 2026, and there are three separate price targets being tracked: $1,850 (going down), $1,900 (going up), and $1,800 (going down). Each one is its own question: did ETH reach that exact number at any point during that day? Even a single brief spike or dip to that price counts, not just where it closes. Each price target resolves Yes if, at any single minute during August 4, 2026 (midnight to 11:59 PM Eastern Time), Ethereum's price on the Binance ETH/USDT pair touched that level. For upward targets like $1,900, the minute's highest point must reach or pass that number. For downward targets like $1,850 and $1,800, the minute's lowest point must touch or go below it. Only Binance data counts. Any other exchange's price is ignored entirely. None of the provided news headlines are meaningfully relevant to Ethereum's price on August 4, 2026. The headlines cover fuel policy, horoscopes, a potential US-Iran deal affecting oil, and unrelated assets. For a market like this, the things worth watching would be broad crypto market moves, major news about Ethereum itself, or large swings in Bitcoin that tend to pull ETH along with it. Crypto prices can swing sharply within a single day, which makes short-window price targets genuinely hard to call. The $1,850 downside target carries the highest odds at 39%, while $1,900 to the upside sits at 24%, and $1,800 is at just 3%, suggesting the market sees a downward touch as more plausible than a strong upward move. Still, a single unexpected news event, a large trade, or broader market sentiment shift could move ETH quickly in either direction within that 24-hour window.
