XRP above ___ on July 30?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market is asking whether XRP, a popular cryptocurrency, will be trading above a specific price ($0.60, $0.70, or $0.80 depending on which version you are looking at) on July 30, 2026. A Yes means XRP's price is above that level on that day. A No means it has fallen to that level or below. It is a simple price checkpoint: will XRP still be worth more than this dollar amount over a year from now? Settlement is decided by one very specific data point: the closing price of XRP against the US dollar on the Binance exchange, at exactly noon Eastern Time on July 30, 2026, using the one-minute candle reading. Only Binance counts here, not Coinbase, Kraken, or any other exchange. If that single price reading is strictly above the target number, it resolves Yes. At or below, it resolves No. The precision matches however many decimal places Binance shows. No specific recent news was matched to this market. For a market like this, the things worth watching over time would be major regulatory decisions affecting XRP (especially in the United States), broader cryptocurrency market trends, and any significant developments at Ripple, the company closely associated with XRP. XRP is currently priced well above these thresholds, which is why the market prices all three outcomes at 98 to 99 percent. The main uncertainty is not a close two-sided debate: it is simply whether something unexpected and significant could push XRP below these levels before July 2026. Crypto markets can move sharply on regulation, exchange failures, or broad market crashes. Over a year-long horizon, that tail risk, however small, is what keeps this from being 100 percent.
