MicroStrategy announces >1000 BTC purchase July 21-27?: how this market works

0%cryptoUpdated 5 min ago

What you need to know

This market asks whether MicroStrategy (the large public company known for buying Bitcoin as a core strategy) will publicly announce that it bought more than 1,000 Bitcoin during the specific week of July 21 to July 27, 2026. A Yes means they made and announced a purchase of over 1,000 BTC in that window. A No means either no purchase was announced, or the announced amount was 1,000 BTC or fewer. The market settles Yes only if MicroStrategy or its executive Michael Saylor officially announces a Bitcoin purchase exceeding 1,000 BTC between 12:00 AM ET on July 21 and 11:59 PM ET on July 27, 2026. The announcement must happen within that window, even if the actual buying happened earlier. The source must be official: company statements or Saylor's own communications. No announcement, or an announcement of exactly 1,000 BTC or less, means No. The only news provided is about Pentagon casualty figures related to Iran, which has no connection to MicroStrategy or Bitcoin purchases. There is no relevant recent news to point to here. The kind of development that would matter is any MicroStrategy filing, press release, or Michael Saylor post announcing a Bitcoin buy during that specific week. The market is currently priced at 0%, meaning traders see essentially no chance of a Yes outcome. At that extreme, the main uncertainty is simply whether something unexpected happens, not a genuine two-sided debate. The week in question is July 21-27, 2026, which is about a year away, so the question is not yet resolved. MicroStrategy has bought Bitcoin frequently in the past, but whether any specific one-week window produces an announcement of this size is genuinely unpredictable that far out.
