NYC Mayor # posts July 24 - July 31, 2026?: how this market works

53%politicsUpdated 5 min ago

What you need to know

This market is asking how many times New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani posts on X (formerly Twitter) during a specific one-week window. A result of 40-59 posts means a fairly steady, moderate posting pace. Under 40 would mean he was relatively quiet online that week. Over 60 would mean he was posting heavily, perhaps during a busy news cycle. The market settles based on the official post count from a third-party tracker at xtracker.polymarket.com, covering posts made between July 24 and July 31, 2026 at noon ET on both days. Only original posts, reposts, and quote posts count. Replies do not count, unless they appear on his main feed. One notable edge case: deleted posts still count if the tracker caught them within about five minutes of posting. No recent news relevant to this market was provided. The two headlines in the feed are about flooding in India and a trade dispute in the Philippines, neither of which relates to Mayor Mamdani or New York City. To track this market, the most useful thing to watch would be major NYC news events that might prompt him to post more frequently, such as city emergencies, policy announcements, or political controversies. The honest challenge here is that social media posting habits are genuinely unpredictable week to week. A quiet news week might mean fewer posts; a crisis or controversy could spike the count quickly. We also have limited public data on Mamdani's established posting patterns as mayor, making it hard to set a strong baseline. The market currently leans toward 40-59 posts, but a single busy news day could easily shift the outcome into a neighboring range.
