Solana above ___ on July 25?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks whether the price of Solana (SOL), a popular cryptocurrency, will be above a specific dollar amount on a specific future date. There are two separate price targets here: one asking if SOL will be above $70, and one asking if it will be above $80. A Yes means SOL's price cleared that threshold at noon on July 25, 2026. A No means it was at or below it at that exact moment. Settlement is determined by one single data point: the closing price of the SOL/USDT trading pair on Binance during the one-minute window starting at noon Eastern Time on July 25, 2026. Only Binance is used, not Coinbase, Kraken, or any other exchange. If that specific closing price is strictly higher than the target number, it resolves Yes. At or below resolves No. The one-minute candle detail matters: a price spike that happens at 11:59 or 12:01 would not count. No specific recent news was provided for this market. The kinds of developments worth watching for would include major shifts in broader crypto market sentiment, regulatory announcements affecting Solana specifically, or significant moves in Bitcoin prices, which tend to pull the whole crypto market up or down with it. The $70 threshold is priced at 98% by the market, meaning almost no uncertainty there, so the honest note is simply that crypto can move sharply and unexpectedly. The $80 threshold, priced at only 4%, reflects that the market sees it as unlikely but not impossible. Crypto prices are genuinely volatile over a year-long horizon, and a single surprise event, positive or negative, can shift prices dramatically in either direction. The long timeline until July 2026 adds real unpredictability.
