Solana above ___ on July 26?: how this market works

99%cryptoUpdated 18 min ago

What you need to know

This market is asking whether Solana's price will be above a specific dollar amount at exactly noon Eastern Time on July 26, 2026. There are three separate price thresholds: $30, $40, and $50. A 'Yes' on the $50 version, for example, simply means Solana is trading above $50 at that specific moment. A 'No' means it is at or below that number. The market is not about the daily average or the closing price at end of day, just one single snapshot at noon. The market settles based on one specific data point: the closing price of the one-minute trading candle on Binance's SOL/USDT pair at exactly 12:00 noon Eastern Time on July 26, 2026. Binance is the only source that counts, so prices on other exchanges like Coinbase or Kraken are irrelevant even if they differ. If Solana is above the stated price at that exact minute, it resolves Yes. If it is at or below, even by a fraction of a cent, it resolves No. No specific recent news was provided for this market. The kinds of developments worth watching would include major regulatory decisions about crypto in the US or globally, significant upgrades or problems with the Solana network itself, and broad shifts in crypto market sentiment driven by things like Bitcoin price movements or macroeconomic news. The market prices all three thresholds at around 99%, meaning participants collectively see it as very unlikely Solana falls below $30 by July 2026, given it trades well above that today. The main uncertainty is simply whether something unexpected and severe happens: a major exchange collapse, a critical flaw found in the Solana network, a broad crypto market crash, or a regulatory shock. These events are historically rare but not impossible. Over a year-long horizon, that tail risk is the real question.
