What price will Bitcoin hit August 3-9?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market is asking whether Bitcoin's price will touch specific levels on Binance during the week of August 3 to 9, 2026. There are two upside targets being tracked: $64,000 and $66,000, meaning the market is asking if Bitcoin climbs that high at any point that week. There is also a downside target of $60,000, meaning the market is asking if Bitcoin drops that low at any point. A Yes on any of these means Bitcoin briefly touched that price, even for a single minute. Each price target settles independently based on Binance BTC/USDT data, using one-minute price candles. For the upside targets ($64,000 and $66,000), it resolves Yes if the highest point of any single one-minute candle reaches or exceeds that price during the week. For the downside target ($60,000), it resolves Yes if the lowest point of any one-minute candle touches or goes below $60,000. Only Binance data counts, not other exchanges. The window runs from 12:00 AM ET on August 3 to 11:59 PM ET on August 9. One piece of news from August 3 is directly related: Capital B announced it holds 3,140 Bitcoin and converted a large block of another asset. Corporate Bitcoin buying like this is sometimes seen as a signal of institutional confidence, but one company's purchase is a small factor in a global market. The other headlines, covering cyberattacks, oil prices, and an unrelated legal case, do not have a clear direct connection to Bitcoin's price movement this week. Bitcoin is one of the most volatile assets in the world, and a single week is a very short window. The price could swing sharply in either direction due to macroeconomic news, regulatory announcements, large trades, or sudden shifts in sentiment, none of which are predictable in advance. The market currently prices the $64,000 target at about 60%, the $60,000 downside at 31%, and $66,000 at 19%, reflecting that participants see upward movement as more likely but the downside as a real possibility. A lot can change in seven days.
