What will Apple (AAPL) hit Week of August 3 2026?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market is asking how high Apple's stock price will climb during one specific week in August 2026. Each of the three prices listed ($308, $312, $316) is a separate Yes/No question: did Apple's stock touch that price or higher at any moment during trading hours that week? The higher the target, the harder it is to reach, which is why the odds drop as the price goes up. Each target resolves Yes if Apple's stock price reaches that level, even briefly, during any single minute of regular trading hours (9:30 AM to 4:00 PM ET) between August 3 and August 7, 2026. The data source is a service called Pyth, which records minute-by-minute price data. Pre-market and after-hours price moves do not count, even if they are large. If Apple does a stock split before then, the target prices adjust automatically to match. No specific recent news matched this market. Because the deadline is more than a year away, the kinds of developments worth watching include Apple's quarterly earnings reports, major product announcements, broader stock market trends, and any news about tariffs or supply chain issues that could affect the company's business outlook. A year-plus time horizon makes this genuinely hard to read. Apple's stock price today may be far from these targets, or close, and a lot can change: the broader economy, interest rates, Apple's own product cycle, regulatory news, or a market-wide shift in any direction. The market currently prices $308 at 95%, meaning participants see that as nearly certain, while $316 sits at 73%, leaving real doubt. The main open question is how much ground Apple gains or loses between now and that week.
