Will any AI model reach ___ Overall Arena Score by September 30?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks whether any AI chatbot will reach a specific score threshold on Chatbot Arena, which is a popular public leaderboard where real users vote on which AI gives better answers in head-to-head comparisons. Think of the Arena Score like a chess rating: the more often a model beats rivals in user votes, the higher its number climbs. There are three separate versions of this market, each with a different target score: 1510, 1520, and 1540. A Yes means at least one model crosses that number by September 30, 2026. Each version resolves Yes if any model listed on the Chatbot Arena leaderboard at arena.ai/leaderboard/text shows a score at or above the target number before midnight Eastern Time on September 30, 2026. The specific column that counts is 'Score' under the 'Text Arena Overall' tab, with style control turned off. If the leaderboard website is down when the deadline arrives, the market stays open until it comes back. If the site shuts down permanently, all three versions resolve No. No recent news was provided that relates to AI model performance or Chatbot Arena scores. The two headlines given are about completely unrelated topics. What would actually matter here is news about major new AI model releases or significant jumps in Arena leaderboard rankings, so those are the kinds of developments worth watching. The three score targets sit at very different odds: 1510 at 38%, 1520 at 13%, and 1540 at 11%, which tells you the market sees each higher bar as meaningfully harder to clear. The core uncertainty is how fast AI models keep improving and whether any lab releases something strong enough to push the leaderboard that high before the deadline. Arena scores also depend on user voting patterns, not just raw model quality, adding another layer of unpredictability.
