Will Microstrategy announce a Bitcoin purchase July 21-27?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks a simple question: did MicroStrategy, the large public company known for buying Bitcoin as a core business strategy, announce any new Bitcoin purchase during the specific week of July 21 to 27, 2026? A Yes means they publicly confirmed buying more Bitcoin that week. A No means no such announcement came out during that window. The market settles Yes if MicroStrategy or its executive chairman Michael Saylor officially announces a Bitcoin acquisition between 12:00 AM ET on July 21 and 11:59 PM ET on July 27, 2026. The announcement itself is what counts, not when the actual purchase happened. The source must be official: a company filing, press release, or direct statement from Saylor. No announcement in that window means it resolves No, regardless of what happens before or after. None of the recent news provided is relevant to this specific market. The headlines cover unrelated topics like a flight diversion, a fraud case, and small cryptocurrency trading volumes. There is no news about MicroStrategy or any Bitcoin purchase announcement from them. To watch for resolution, the key source would be MicroStrategy's official communications or their public purchase tracker at strategy.com. The market is currently priced at 0%, meaning participants see virtually no chance of a Yes outcome. Given that the resolution window ends July 27, 2026, and no purchase announcement appears to have been made, the main remaining uncertainty is simply whether a late announcement surfaces before the deadline closes. There is no meaningful competing narrative here. The question looks effectively settled, with only the very small possibility of a surprise announcement changing that.
