What will NVIDIA (NVDA) hit Week of August 3 2026?: how this market works

100%economyUpdated just now

What you need to know

This market is asking how high or low NVIDIA's stock price will travel during one specific week in August 2026. There are three separate price targets: $196, $200, and $204. For each one, you are essentially asking: will NVIDIA's stock touch that number at any moment during regular trading hours that week? The upward arrows mean the question is whether the price climbs to or above that level; the downward arrow on $196 means whether the price dips to or below it. Each target settles Yes or No based on NVIDIA's minute-by-minute price data during regular trading hours, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM ET, from August 3 to August 7, 2026. The data source is a service called Pyth, which records the high and low of every single one-minute window. If even one minute touches the target, it resolves Yes. Pre-market and after-hours moves do not count. If Pyth has a technical outage, the official daily high or low from the exchange is used as a backup. Stock splits would adjust all targets proportionally. One headline from August 5, 2026 references a piece titled 'There is No Future for AI Without Industrial AI,' which suggests ongoing conversation about AI's role in industry. This kind of sentiment can influence how investors view NVIDIA, since the company is a central supplier of chips that power AI systems. However, no specific price-moving news about NVIDIA itself was provided, so it is hard to say what directly drove the stock that week. Stock prices over a full trading week can move a lot, and NVIDIA in particular is known for sharp swings driven by AI news, earnings expectations, and broader market sentiment. The three targets are spread across a roughly four-dollar range, which is narrow for a stock that can move several dollars in a single session. The market currently prices the $200 touch at 92%, reflecting high confidence, while $204 sits at 59%, meaning real doubt remains about whether the stock reaches that higher level.
