Solana above ___ on August 7?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks whether Solana's price will be above a specific dollar amount at exactly noon Eastern Time on August 7, 2026. There are three separate versions: one for $50, one for $60, and one for $70. A Yes means Solana's price is higher than that number at that moment. A No means it is at or below it. Think of it like a snapshot: only one single minute matters, not the average for the day or the closing price at night. The market settles based on one very specific data point: the closing price of the SOL/USDT trading pair on Binance during the 12:00 noon Eastern Time one-minute candle on August 7, 2026. That closing price is compared to the threshold ($50, $60, or $70). If it is strictly higher, the market resolves Yes. If it is exactly equal or lower, it resolves No. Only Binance's own data counts here, not prices from Coinbase, Kraken, or any other exchange. No relevant news about Solana or crypto markets was provided. The only item in the news feed is an astrology article, which has no bearing on this market. For a market like this, the things worth watching would be major Solana network developments, broader crypto market moves, and any significant macroeconomic news that tends to shift risk assets. Crypto prices are genuinely hard to forecast over more than a year, which is how far away August 7, 2026 is. That said, the market already prices the $50 and $60 thresholds at 98%, meaning participants strongly expect Solana to be above those levels. The real uncertainty sits at $70, priced at 92%. Even at 92%, the remaining 8% reflects how unpredictable crypto can be: a sharp market downturn, a major security event, or regulatory pressure could move prices significantly in either direction over fourteen-plus months.
