XRP above ___ on August 5?: how this market works
What you need to know
This market asks whether XRP, a cryptocurrency, will be trading above a specific price threshold on a specific date next year. There are three separate versions here, each with a different price target: $0.80, $0.90, and $1.00. A Yes result means XRP's price is above that threshold at noon on August 5, 2026. A No result means it is at or below that price at that exact moment. Right now the market prices all three outcomes as very likely to resolve Yes, above 97%. Settlement is determined by one single data point: the closing price of the 1-minute trading candle for XRP/USDT on Binance at exactly 12:00 noon Eastern Time on August 5, 2026. Only Binance is used, not any other exchange or app. If the price at that precise minute is above the target, it resolves Yes. If it is exactly at the target, or below it, it resolves No. No averages, no daily highs or lows, just that one minute's closing price. No specific recent news was provided for this market. The kinds of developments worth watching would be major shifts in crypto regulation, large institutional moves into or out of XRP, court rulings involving Ripple (the company behind XRP), or broad cryptocurrency market swings that push prices significantly up or down. The market prices all three thresholds above 97%, meaning participants currently see it as very likely XRP will be above $1.00 by August 2026. The main honest uncertainty here is not a close debate between two sides, it is simply whether something unexpected disrupts that picture. Crypto prices can move dramatically in either direction over a year-long period. A major market crash, a regulatory shock, or an exchange-specific event on Binance could all change the outcome.
