What will WTI Crude Oil (WTI) hit Week of July 27 2026?: how this market works

40%economyUpdated 5 min ago

What you need to know

This market asks whether the price of U.S. crude oil will touch a specific level during the trading week of July 27, 2026. There are three separate yes/no questions bundled here: will oil drop below $80, will it drop below $75, or will it rise above $95? Each is its own market. A 'Yes' means oil actually hits that price at some point that week. A 'No' means it stays within a range that never touches the target, no matter which direction prices move. Each price target resolves Yes if, at any moment during the week of July 27, 2026, a single one-minute price snapshot for the active WTI crude futures contract touches or crosses the listed level. That means even a brief spike or dip counts, not just the closing price. The data comes from Pyth, a real-time price feed. If crude oil simply never trades that week, all targets resolve No. The week runs from 6:00 PM ET Sunday July 26 through 5:00 PM ET Friday July 31, with a short daily break each evening. No relevant recent news was provided for this market. The kinds of developments worth watching would include OPEC production decisions, U.S. inventory reports, major geopolitical events affecting oil-producing regions, and signals about global economic demand, since all of these can move crude prices significantly in either direction. Oil prices over a year from now are genuinely difficult to forecast. The current market spreads tell the story: the three targets span from $75 to $95, covering a wide range, and no single outcome commands strong confidence. A lot can change between now and late July 2026: OPEC could raise or cut output, global growth could slow or accelerate, a geopolitical shock could arrive without warning, or a strong dollar could weigh on prices. The one-minute candle rule also matters: a very brief intraday spike counts, which makes a touch more likely than a sustained close at that level.
